I wanted to share with you some of my "Mindful Moments" and Insights...

I chose the name mindful moments because a moment is always in the present...It can be a minute, minutes or happen in a flash...

Mindful moments are times within the space of your day that can be within seconds. In many ways a moment includes time, and yet goes beyond the boundary of time...

We have an agreed upon definition of a minute or minutes, but a moment or moments transcends this...

A moment is always in present time and this makes it so powerful

In a moment we can choose what is empowering and so life-enhancing...

We can choose to rise above in a moment, we can choose gratitude; and we can choose to see through the eyes of love and act from love in a moment.

In a moment we can make a decision that changes the trajectory of our life.

Our life is made up of many moments...

My first recollection of transcendent worlds and other dimensions was at age 4... At age 8 I was having visions, seeing spirits and other entities of the astral realm and had a visitation of Mother Mary; which my parents only believed my story when for 3 days they could not walk in the spot she had appeared. I remember at age 11 a trip to San Francisco with my family and i stopped to chant with some disciples of Iskon (Hari Krishna's, as this religious group is known)I first started meditating and doing yoga when I was in my late teens. Actually, at age 14 I had started doing astral projection; and other forms of transcendent play... Being a psychic channel and empath I was searching for a "what was happening to me" and "why do I see spirits; and have other forms of paranormal (normal to me) experiences, such as why do i just know things and see things other people don't see know... Back then I had to go to the "library". There wasn't a google; amazon or the many outlets fiat the internet; as well as so many people on "the path"... I found my way; as others did; and I

In High School i went to an magnate/alternative school and I learned some forms of meditation and yoga; along with other spiritual principles and metaphysics's.

It was in my mid 20's that I began a more earnest search of my spiritual quest. This quest was definitely fueled by my challenging at best upbringing and the questions I still had within me about the "other side and other part of me"  I became thirsty for what would quench this thirst for  elixir of all life; and this has not only lead me, but kept me on this path that was started since I was a mere vibrational thought in the Universes.

I hope that this page of  'Mediation and Mindfulness' is not just an interesting page for you, but a place where you can tap into to remember the truth of who you are and come to connect in with your Soul and replenish your Spirit.

Hmmm.....So what is 'Meditation' and 'Mindfulness'??

Is it a religion?  No, Is it a tool? yes... Is there a goal?... Well, sort of, yes...

If there is a "goal" in meditation or mindfulness it could be said to align; or attune to the "meditative state"...

Meditation; or connecting within is important to connect in with your Soul... It is a way of contacting your Higher Self/Inner Guidance. It is a way in to your own Inner Map and Inner Knowing...

Meditation is so important in healing, spiritual growth, awareness, problem solving; and in the upleveling of our consciousness , awakening, Soul Alignment and opening to the New Emerging Consciousness to co-create the New Paradigm...

So, yet, it's kinda key.... The easy part is it's easy and there are so many ways to mediate and do the practice of mindfulness... It's just about doing it...

The practice of "meditation" and "mindfulness" is just that a "practice".... Exercises, techniques, process done on a continual basis to allow and facilitate you to connect into your "True Essence"; which is the "meditative state".

This meditative is also in Eastern Religious and Philosophical principles and in the sacred language of  Sanskrit is called: " Samathi"; or "oneness".... The ultimate oneness in Sanskrit is called:  "Samadhi"; or what happens when we leave our physical body and are subsumed into the Universe/s; All That Is; or God...

Meditation and Mindfulness; or Dhyana is the exercise and process of becoming "aware of what is".

Vipassana is a type of 'mindfulness'.

It is said that 'meditation' is:  Dyana + Pranayama = Samathi

Awareness of "What Is" = Breath Awareness/Breath Control = Oneness

It is in this oneness that we are not "resisting" what is and the current flow of what is...

This coupled with breath awareness has the magic of bringing us into a peace and calm.

From here all things are possible.

You might still be aware of an anger, sadness, uncertainty; or any unbalancing emotions; however there will be a prevailing inner calm, tranquility and awareness that all will be ok.

This is the "truth of who we are" The understanding in meditation and mindfulness is that situations and circumstances are transitory; and that there is a part of us within that is in the unfolding of "what is" and aligned to the best outcome.  In other words we are in good hands and taken care of in our life and in the present circumstances.

Meditation is not always about feeling good and is not to put us in a bliss state; or allow a state of denial.  We might connect to our inner joy and feel bliss; be might reach an understanding that all is not as "bad" as it seems. Or, not... We might just become aware that we are caught up in a human emotion loop; and that's ok...

We are a Spiritual  Essence; or being with a Soul having this interesting, wonderful, challenging, magical human experience, on what I like to call:  Soul Playground.

We are meant to experience and express life through our emotions.  We are energy in motion.

There are many forms of meditation and mindfulness practices/exercises.  There are many uses for meditation and mindfulness.  One can use meditation for stress reduction, connecting within, consulting one's own inner guidance, awareness of what is, insight, creative solutions, problems solving, assisting one with their studies, contemplating, to access one's creativity and creative expression, pain management/alleviation, counter balance diseases, aid in sickness, dealing with anxiety reactions, post traumatic situations, panic attaches, and  healing of all forms just to share some examples.

There are walking meditations, meditations for ground, for lightening up, for clarity.

In traditional meditation teaching one receives the instruction and meditation, similar to a prescription that is going to best help there mental-emotional-spiritual constitution and Soul/Personality .
